yeah, 40%, thats high

Bob, Im not sure if I've ever seen a circle-hook on a jig/lure not sure it would have helped in this case ne-way
also I forget 2 things, most importantly, is the lure thats in the above pics is what I caught it on and it had a 3rd "trailer" hook on it, which I left in the fish because it was burried and I just crimped the barb on the second hook so the "eye" of the trailer would slip off. I never even noticed that the Jig had 3 hooks on-it and I will make Damn- Sure We NEVER Drag a 3 hook rig again

second, we makred ALOT of bait and we fished in "slicks" ALL DAY. water temps were 52* in the AM and upto 56* by mid-day
