Default Alltackle Fishing Report

OK guys, here is the skinny on Chesapeake Bay Stripers.

They are catching and releasing large stripers on cut bait north of I-95. They showed up as usual, when the dogwoods bloom. The water is still a little dirty, but when it clears up, they will be tossing 10" BKD on jig heads for these same fish.

I am getting reports up and down the main stem of the bay from the trollers. One customer stopped counting after 40 fish. He was fishing alone in the mid-bay. He caught 5 fish over the upper slot limit size of 41". Umbrellas and Tandems, chartreuse and white.

Let's hope the water temp stays cold so these fish stick around for a while.

Alltackle encourages catch and release, especially for pre-spawned rockfish.
