BUT understand, at this time the ONLY beach the letters are aimed to address is Cape Hatteras National Seashore NOT Assateague Island. That time has not come yet. At some point during the GMP update process, which doesn't begin until next year, I will make available all necessary information and recommendations necessary for you to send in your input to the NPS. We are no where close to that time. I do not suggest any actions be taken regarding Assateague at this time.
