I am Far from a Striper Killer but, I've learned alot by watching and screwing up.

You said it correctly along with Bohica.

You need Circle Hooks.

You need to find LUMPS

Once you have a run off - let the Striper take it. Don't TOUCH the Rod. Leave it in the Rod Holder. SLOWLY move up on the Drag. When you feel you are Good on the Drag - HOOK 'EM.

Use small chunks and burry the hook.
