Yeah i have to say with me living about 2 min from BPS i have alot of time to go in and look at all the surf rods and id have to aggree that the reel seat looks a bit weak for a heaver setup! IMOP i would have say that the OM looks like a stronger rod ( in the handle and reel seat ) at least to be a big heaver which i beleive it is from what ive seen and thrown. overall tho im sure that the Cape Point is a great rod whether you wrap the handle or leave it blank...im sure you'll like it, just might take a bit to get used to that small reel seat and the bare handle. Let us know how you like and what reel you put on it to match!
