2006 Assateague Island Striper Tournament

November 18th & 19th 2006

AtlanticAnglers.com and Harbor Tackle hosted our First Annual Assateague Striper Tournament on November 18-19, 2006. We had a great time, with 8 legal Striped Bass caught with the largest, 49" caught by Dave Swenson.

The winners are:

Longest Striped Bass- Dave Swenson --- 49" Saturday 10:35 am
Second Longest Striped Bass- Dan Davis --- 40 1/2" Saturday 3:01 pm
Most Striped Bass Caught (28" +) - Nancy Fullard --- 36" Saturday 6:57 am

There were eight Stripers caught in total. The prize for most Stripers caught by one angler was an eight way tie. In the case of a tie, the first Striper caught wins.
